Self-hosting overview
Deploy TryOpenTrace with Docker Compose or run services manually.
TryOpenTrace ships with Docker Compose files that run the API server, worker, Postgres, Redis, and optional RustFS storage.
Deployment options
- Docker Compose (recommended): Fastest path for local or single-node setups.
- Manual services: Run Postgres and Redis yourself, then start server/worker apps.
What runs where
- Server on port
8080(container port 3000) - Worker processes alerts and background jobs
- Postgres for events, issues, and metadata
- Redis for rate limits and queues
- RustFS for object storage (sourcemaps and artifacts)
