Capture your first error

1. Start the stack

From the repo root:

docker compose up --build

This starts the API server on http://localhost:8080 and the worker, Postgres, Redis, and RustFS.

2. Run the web app

In another terminal:

bun install
bun run dev:web

Open http://localhost:3001 and create an organization and project.

3. Copy your DSN

Go to the project setup page:

/{orgSlug}/projects/{projectSlug}/setup

Copy the DSN shown there. It looks like:

http://<publicKey>@localhost:3000/<projectId>

4. Send a test event

bun add @sentry/browser

Sentry.init({
  dsn: "http://<publicKey>@localhost:3000/<projectId>",
});

Sentry.captureException(new Error("TryOpenTrace is running"));

Refresh your issues list in the dashboard and you should see the event.
